Vitamix E320 Reviews

The Explorian 320 is somehow wider and bulky for people with small cabinets for storage. It is a powerful blender with a 2.2 Hp motor capable of blending even tough ingredients like nut butter. Come with a 64-ounce low profile container and 4- prong blades that are laser cut aircraft-design stainless steel.

E320 has 10 variable speed controls for blending and a pulse function dial. The speed settings are easy to use where the transition between speeds is very smooth. The blending of ingredients starts from the low speed and gradually increase depending on the recipe and finally end at the low speed. For smoothies, the medium speed works great while the high speed works perfectly for hard ingredients and hot soup.

This blender is heavy and the base is a study that makes it fixed not to move when blending at high speeds.

What about the noise level? Vitamix e320 is also noisy and vibrates when blending. It lacks sound-dampening features to reduce the noise hence classified as a noisy blender.

Cleaning Explorian blenders is easy with the jars being dishwasher safe and also have the self-cleaning capability. Self-cleaning is done by filling half the jar with warm water and some dish soap then run it for 30-60 seconds. After cleaning, rinse the jar again with water and dry using a kitchen drying cloth.

With this blender, you can blend many meals including juice, frozen desserts, hot soup, puree, baby food, nut milk, smoothies, chopping, food prep, grinding, dough, and many others.

Vitamix 5300 Reviews

The Vitamix 5300 combines many features and styles from several series which was an improvement for the previous models. It borrows some features from G-series and combines it with the C-series to make a hybrid blender.

One of these borrowed features is the motor which has 2.2 HP which is commonly found in G-series blenders. This is a strong motor to blend most of the ingredients thrown in it. The container is a low profile with a 64-ounce capacity.

The Classic series mostly have 2 HP and a narrow container that fits the 3-inch blades. The low profile has 4-inch blades due to the wider base of the container. The blender base is from the classic series which limits it to perform like the G-series blenders which are more quieter.

5300 features 10-speed variable control dial and a pulse switch to enhance the blending process. The controls on this blender are simple to operate and user-friendly.

A new tamper is also available but different from the classic series tamper which is compatible with the low profile 64-ounce and 40-ounce containers.

In terms of noise level, the 5300 is noisy compared to the G-series blenders due to lack of noise dampening features.

The performance of the blender is excellent because it can blend many ingredients and prepare a variety of recipes. Some of the meals you can prepare are smoothies, nut butter, knead the dough, food prep, soups, frozen drinks and much more.
